Great upgrade and performance

Great appliance. Our old LGT was over 10 years old so time to upgrade and boy what an upgrade. Love the Wifi feature that tells me when the door is open when it starts/stops clean the filter etc. Very quiet with virtually no vibration. Would definitely purchase again but hopefully will have many years of excellent service.

Careful when buying LG

The brand is all over my house for other great experiences I had. This time I cant say the same. The dryer is not even a year old and have developed a rusty spot inside the tumbler. I bought extra warranty with BestBuy but they didnt help fix it so my grievances are 1st with BestBuy and then with LG. LG is now replacing the tumbler drum but I still need to pay for the technician to service the installation. I only wanted a new and great product and ended up with a headache and spending more money.

Great features but needs some work

We bought both the Washer and Dryer at the same time. They work really well but I am not so sure about the built in intelligence. The dryer never over drys the cloths and the choices seem fairly well programmed. Now all the positives being said here are my issues. The WiFi needs some work. Complicated to set up and once if dropped off line and it took a 20 minute call to LG to get it back online. There are very little to NO instructions on the process for using the Steam Function. I tried it and the clothes came out damp. And lastly the rubber gasket between the door and the dryer box is constantly needing to be cleaned as the seal must not be fully sealing and an accumulation of lint and debris is constantly building up. Other wise we truly like the dryer. I paid full price for this unit.

Dryer stopped heating 3 weeks after the 1 year warranty expired. $350 repaired it. Sad this happened especially this soon after the warranty expired. No other issues but its only slightly more than a year old

We just purchased this dryer and are loving it. Uploaded the WiFi so can tell when the dryer finishes which helps to get the clothing out quick so there is less wrinkles. The look of the machine is wonderful. It is very friendly to use.
