After 8 years the racks need to be replaced.

Serial number shows the unit was manufactured in August 2018. So it is 8 years old. Racks are in bad shape with rusted tangs that fell off and wheels gone. Over $200 to replace those two racks. Bottom : water spray rotating arms are very wobbly and wand pops off easily. Calling to get replacement rack and it says it's not available. This is just terrible. It's unacceptable.. It needs a 10-year warranty, not a 1-year warranty because of the thing falls apart. Still I gave it a three and not a one because it does wash the dishes very well.

The smaller size it great for small spaces. The machine can be used while watching TV, it is quiet. The siverware holder is very poor design. My silverware doesn't all fit in the holes in the top of the lid. If I take the lid off, the "walls" aren't tall enough to hold the silverware up. I had to order a generic one to trade it out with. I wear clear lip balm and when I take the plastic cups out of the dishwasher, I see lip prints on the rim and have to re wash them. This is after washing on the regular cycle, boost, 122 minutes.

Repair more than machine worth?

The dishwasher was new and came with the house I purchased 2 years ago. Right around the 1 year mark it started to be very difficult to start a cycle, and the water started to pool up at the bottom instead of draining completely. I™€™d push the start button and nothing would happen, just a clicking sound. I unplugged the machine and plugged back in, which would sometimes work to sort of ™€œreset™€ the machine. That eventually stopped working. I would try to reset it through pushing buttons in a certain pattern. At this point I can only run the machine on a 45 minute cycle, and the water at the bottom still at times will not drain completely. I have a GE repair specialist coming out next week. $114 service charge just to walk in the door. Any repairs or parts are of course extra. From what I researched a new electric motherboard part will run somewhere between $250-$350. That™€™s just the part. I™€™m afraid the repair will cost more than the machine is even worth. I also agree with other reviewers on the rack design. Terrible. It is a pretty machine, but disappointing.

Some real positives but some major issues.. on the plus side, it™€™s beautiful and fits modern decor, quiet, cleans really well. On the negative side, the racks make no sense. Loading is very difficult even with service for 4! You have to make decisions or nothing fits! If you don™€™t load it perfectly, nothing dries. Can only use round, flat dishes. Challenging. The racks are a major design flaw.

Horrible service. Called to get some help and the lady on the phone didn™€™t know anything. She gave me numbers for certified repair people and they are booked out for 2 months. Shows you that the product is not reliable. I bought the part that was recommended to replace and the power is still not on the machine. The product is less than or maybe right at 2 years. Have only used it for 1 year. Horrible product quality if it doesn™€™t work after a year.

It cleans ok, but there are three big issues. 1) It does a pretty miserable job at drying. I leave the door closed to keep the heat in and everything remains dripping wet. I leave the door open and everything dries with big droplet marks all over from cooling. No real solution that I can tell to this, besides chemicals I guess. 2) Upper rack is very sloped on either side where glasses are intended to go. Glasses cannot sit flat on the rack, especially if putting bowls in center row and thus go through the wash cycle leaning against one another and are at risk of shattering. 3) As others have said, this is also not really an ideal dishwasher unless you eat every meal off of very flat plates as bowls or more curved plates are not well accomodated anywhere on either rack.

This is the dishwasher in the apartment I just moved into. It was brand new, so I was the first to use it. Loading it is a hassle. The design of the racks is for no dishes I have ever seen. There are huge gaps on the bottom of one section, and the tines on the other side are so close together I can't fit anything except very small plates. The top rack is uneven, and things don't stay where they are placed. Half the dishes I own are too large for this dishwasher. A regular dinner plate won't fit. There is not a good place for cups or bowls. It also smells like burning plastic every time it runs, which makes me concerned for both my health and the longevity of the machine. And when it's finished, dishes have scum inside, and water marks. As for the controls, they are placed in an inaccessible place, and also offer little control. No option to turn off heat, or drying cycle. No timed cycle. If you are looking for a half size machine, look elsewhere.

We need a small ADA dishwasher to fit under our cabinet space. This dishwasher fits perfectly. I have not experienced any issues.

Quiet machine

We love it! Very quiet in our small kitchen. We went from no dishwasher to this and we are able to get much more done on our farm without taking the time to hand wash every little item.

Features for price are great

Just got it and love it so far. Quiet and the features are everything competition has but a better price. I have a small kitchen so the 18™€ was perfect though alittle creativity is required because of size. My one complaint is the fact you can™€™t adjust back legs from front of machine making leveling tricky on install. Also buy an install kit before delivery so you have power cord if not hardwiring and the water line and clamps. None are provided

We love our new Haier dishwasher! It's compact, but also holds enough dishes to only run it every 2-3 days. It gets all of the dishes very clean and saves energy/water too!

Very quiet

It is really hard to tell when it™€™s finished. It™€™s great it™€™s quiet but I have run more than one load again bc my family puts dirty dishes in with clean or mostly clean dishes and it™€™s too hard to tell. I don™€™t know how long the run-time is, but it seems very long.

We have had it for We use the light cycle mainly because it's only 45 minutes long and dishes come out super clean. It's a pretty quiet machine. It's small but a perfect size for our 2-person household. We run it every 2 days.
