I have tried over and over to connect the hood to the app and it keeps failing. I am in the business of connecting products to wifi/apps so it certainly isn't operator error. I'll try a few more times when I have the patience and a spare hour. After that, I will call tech support.
It looks great. I'd rather review it after a year, GE keeps sending me reminders so they will get this.

The design of the springs for the buttons is horrible. It uses little thin plastic springs that get brittle from heat and break. It now has a replacement but from the picture it doesn't look improved. This design failed in less than 18 months and the replacement part WB03X40773 is out of stock.

The exhaust fan works well but for the price it comes with a $2 remote. The remote has never worked properly since we purchase it in 2023.

So far we are delighted with vent. Be aware it has an 8™ duct vent. This is a bit larger than most, but what makes it also quieter than most other vents. The three lights are nice too.

Very efficient and quiet fan. The three level lights a bright white. I love that the vent hood can be blue tooth linked to the Cafe oven/stove top. I have it so the light and low fan comes on automatically when the burners are turned on.

My wife and I have cooked salmon our whole lives. And it always stinks up the joint. Until now, that is. Moved into a new house last month and fired up the salmon in the oven for the first time. Started to smell fish when my wife yells at me to turn on the fan in the hood. I had no idea there was three fan settings. Put it on high and the fish stink was gone. Just like that. Will we eat more fish now? Yes. Should we? Probably not.

I was replacing a previous GE vent which I was unable to get repaired. It was 14 years old and parts were not available. This one fit in the space so I did not have to change a custom cabinet.vThe hood works well and I do like the remote control which my previous hood did not have.

I haven't cooked anything major yet. But the fan seems to suck really well. I like the 4 speeds, but not sure I would ever need boost mode, it sounds like an airplane taking off! I love the look and so far how it works. I have it scheduled for the lights to be on at certain times and we hooked it up to our Alexa for hands free usage when cooking. I can't give it 5 stars yet until I use it more.
