There are so many choices when trying to select a microwave, it can be challenging. But when I looked at the features of the 1.9 CU over-the-range GE microwave along with the extremely generous discount that was being offered, it was a no-brainer. A clear value winner! I like the way they have squeezed out every last drop of internal space within the same outside dimension constraints. It also has a lot of ease of use and safety features. For example, when I tried to test it out after installing just by pressing the "Add 30 sec." button, it informed me that I needed to put something in the oven first. Also, the auto-detection of when microwave popcorn is "done" is really nice. No more scorched popcorn!

Previous GE microwave was in stalled in 2007. It quit on March 2022. A good run for sure. I replaced it with the same unit and as before it works perfect.

We replaced our last GE with a new GE over the stove microwave hoping that the frame on the back would be the same. The frames were different so I had to replace the whole support frame. Then two years later the new microwave dies. Not planning on buying another GE that's for sure. Just buzzes loudly but doesn't heat.

We bought this microwave because we wanted the many features explained in the on-line manual. Extremely disappointed that features we've used on previous GE microwaves don't exist on this one. If I hadn't already installed the unit, I'd have returned it immediately. Instead we just complain about GE when we use the microwave. Extremely bad performance on GE's part to list features in manual that don't exist on the appliance.

Works well, we like the features and presets, especially the "add 30 seconds" for a quick warm up of whatever. We also like the fact that you can see what is in the microwave when it's running ( a number of models we looked at, the glass was so dark you couldn't see inside).

Still exploring the features, but it is quiet, easy to use. Do not like the 30 sec add time feature should be a minute. Door latch is a little stiff and hard to close. Impressed with the product.

Microwave install was pretty painless. Took me longer just because I had to put filler in the holes that the previous microwave used for it's install. My only complaint was the template for the top mounting holes. On the template it said 9 3/16" but the hole template was 9 1/2". Made it a little difficult deciding which option was right. Otherwise everything went smoothly. For the price the microwave has a o lot of nice features. I just installed this microwave hopefully it last as long as my last one, over twelve years.

New microwave works great. I do wish they had kept the 6 minute express cook button (instead of limiting it to only 1 - 5 minutes) as it's especially useful for one of my favorite microwave entrees. Also wish they made it easier to change the charcoal filter as it seems that in order to do so I'll need to loosen the mounting screws holding the oven in place over my stove.

Compared to our old microwave, this GE model has a brighter light and stronger, and quieter, vent fan. I did the installation myself and it went okay, better than my spouse had predicted.

It's not my favorite but it's not bad. Doesn't sound solid like my GE Adora did-the door sounds kind of cheep and "tinny" when you close it. Does not have the "soften" setting that I used frequently. But it does what a microwave is supposed to do so I guess I can't really complain.

We had to replace our GE Spacemaker 2.0 after 11 yrs due to issues with hardware / buttons - still worked though! I decided on this unit because it was VERY similar to our old unit -few slight differences in options and size. This unit is definitely not made as sturdy, especially the door - very light weight and hollow feeling. Functions and options are good. The Fan/vent option starts with boost and goes down to low - I would have preferred it to be the opposite.
The clock display can be either ON or OFF, it is not adjustable. It is very bright at night, so we decided to turn it off since we have a clock on our wall oven.
Overall it is a nice unit. I hope we get another 10+ yrs out of this one

I replace my old GE microwave (2006 model) with the a new GE microwave which made the install easier. The clock is brighter with 4000k number illumination, little hard on the eyes. Otherwise I like this microwave.

Generally we like this microwave. The ability to turn it on with the press of one button with express feature is great. One of the main things my wife looked for in an over the stove microwave. However, the new layout of buttons is not as convenient and takes time to find the correct button and it does not have the butter softening feature.

Replaced another GE Microwave. Happy with the unit although I miss the rotary dial to set cooking times because the touch pad isn't touch sensitive. Really need to push your inputs. Also miss the night light feature
